Mitla, an archeological site located in Oaxaca, was the main religious center of the Zapotec culture which conserves hugely important tombs for them. The name Mitla means ‘ The place of the dead’ or ‘Underworld’. It is considered as the fabled home of ‘Mictlantecuhtle’ Lord of The Underworld.
The Underworld ring is handcrafted from 22ct gold plated bronze, in Mexico City from recycled post-consumer metals.
